BACKGROUND HISTORY FROM THE OPERATIONS MANAGER

The company was started by Late Mr. Satya Nand & Mrs. Lila Wati from Muaniweni Naitasiri. They used to manufacture sheetmetal water tanks & other stuffs. Later they were shifted to Nausori at Mistry lane where his son Mr. Nitya accompanied him on the jobs & learned trade in sheetmetal. They used to make tanks for BlueScope lysaght in Samabula.

Later on, they bought a workshop in Manoca industrial & started their business on mostly sheetmetal and plumbing works. Later on Mr. Nitya Nand sons Mr. Nitesh and Mr. Kanhaiya also joined him in this business for the sheetmetal. They used to supply colorbond water tanks to the Government Department & Red Cross before the polythene water tanks came.

Thereafter, in 2010 they started to prepare to buy for the rotomould manufacturing plant for the polythene water tanks. To construct a building & purchase machine & material they took a loan. After loan approval they started to build & went abroad to look for machine. In 2015 the workshop & machine was all setup & a trading company as Nands Rotomould started. The machine which is purchased is with the latest technology which produces tanks as per highest quality standard in compliance with the standard recommended by Fijian Ministry of Health. Thus, the moulds in which water tanks are made is of stainless steel without any joints which can cause leakage in future. Also, our tank has brass inserts which is cooked at the same time while tank is cooked

In addition, during cyclone Winston Appeal, Honorable Prime Minister also visited our factory & Nands rotomould donated 5 pcs of 5200Litres water tank to Pm’s relief & fund to help needy people who lost their all valuable assets.

Moreover, we are pleased to report that there have not been any complaints from our customers even after the TC Winston. We produce tanks with quality & no joints are on our moulds for leakage. Together with quality, we can assure timely delivery to hardware’s and Govt dept. also our tanks are in stock for our customers to pick up from our yard in Lakena.

In 2020 we applied for Fijian made and LTA accredited Workshop. We were so pleased and proud to say that we got both the certificates in 2021 with Krishna’s blessing and determine and hard work from staff and management.
